割れもの注意！！ エチオピア産オパール Most fragile stone- ethiopian opal

エチオピア産オパールのジュエリーはQuietRobinのヒット作品の一つですが、これがとても脆いのです～何回も泣かされました(:_;)なのでいつも細いワイヤーで注意深く作っています。天然石の中でピカ一のもろさではないかと思っています。次いで、アパタイトですね。いずれも脆い石ほど美しいという、滅びの美学でしょうか。作業台の上に載せているとまちがえてしまいそうなムーンストーンとオパール。エチオピア産オパールは写真のように黄味がかっているところで見分けがつきますが、一方、ムーンストーンはなかなかタフな石のようで、その強さは外見ではわかりません、人間と同じですね。Ethiopian Opal！！It's one of my best selling jewelry in my shop, Quiet Robin, but they are very fragile. From my experience, I 'd like to call them the most fragile stone, how many times have I cried breaking them. Now I learned the lesson, and use very small gauge wire and
wrap very carefully. The second fragile stone is Apatite. It is likely that beautiful stone is fragile.
But everything has exception.The rainbow moonstone and ethiopian opal somewhat look same if you mix them together, only opal is yellowish as seen from the pic. But the moonstone seems to be tough, like human, you can't tell how strong they are just  from the look of them.
