One of my autumn finds is this flower, called Higanbana. I wonder if this flower has different name in other countries. Because, the word higan stands for another world, not where we live, the world for dead people.

小さい秋ーAutumn finds
例年は9月になっても、まだまだ暑気は居座っていますが、今年は逃げ足の早いこと。咲き乱れる彼岸花を見つけました。毒があるとか、子供のころには聞いていました。この植物には葉はないの？と思わせる茎の感じなどなぜか恐ろしいような、それでいて心惹かれる花であります。
